Bleiburg is a project that
needs no further introduction for all lovers of martial
and ambient music. The project became an established and
recognized name having released an impressive number of
releases. "Indivisibiliter Ac Inseparabiliter " totally
fits to the style of Bleiburg. This album was inspired
by the spirit and history of the legendary Austrian and
Hungarian Empire. S. Rukavina transposed this
inspiration into martial percussion, refined piano
parts, industrial drones that have been sometimes
replaced by a kind of droning beat and lots of samplings.
"Indivisibiliter Ac Inseparabiliter" however brings some
little surprises we didn't exactly expect to hear. I'm
here referring to the kind of trip-hop rhythmic running
through "In Vollster Eintracht" or the kind of tribal
rhythmic joining in on "As Time Has Passed". This last
track is a remarkable piece full of diversity. Other
attention grabbers are "Ehe Noch Die Blätter Fallen" for
its more detailed and refined elements, "Ungarische Erde"
for the kind of wafting sensation animating this song
and "Slavni Bane" for the martial influence mixed with
enchanting Eastern samplings. Some typical German spoken
samplings add an extra 'hard' touch to the compositions.
It also creates certain harmony with the martial side of
Bleiburg. "Indivisibiliter Ac Inseparabiliter" is one
more fascinating release for Bleiburg while confirming
the huge creativity and productivity of this artist.
